Does Sata2 Data Support CD Audio Playback?

Hi all, I seem to be having extraordinary problems getting my cd/dvd drives working on my newly built system. ALSA works fine via spdif on mythtv - but I can't get dvds to play or cds to play no matter how I try. Do I have to have the audio out cable from the cd player or will the sata2cable support the streaming of the cd audio by default (what I suspect since one of my dvd drives does... Read more...
